Terms

The terms, in plain English.

Last updated 9 September 2026 · RING ORLA LTD, company 17368852

These are the commercial terms that govern the service. The full Services Agreement, which includes the schedules and the data processing terms, is sent to you in writing before ORLA answers a single call, and nothing goes live until you have it.

1. Who you are contracting with

RING ORLA LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, number 17368852, registered office 12 Robinson Close, Carterton, OX18 3PG. These terms are for business customers only. We do not sell to consumers, so the consumer cancellation rules do not apply.

2. What you pay

  • Starter: £79 a month. No setup fee.
  • Connect: £149 a month. No setup fee. One verified messaging channel is connected during setup.
  • Complete: £349 a month, plus a one-off £129.99 setup fee charged when we activate your line, alongside your first monthly payment. All verified messaging channels and guided setup are included.

There is no per-minute charge on any plan. Each plan carries a fair-use allowance, 150 minutes on Starter, 300 on Connect, 1,000 on Complete. That figure is a conversation, not an invoice. If you are regularly over it we will talk to you about moving up a plan. You will not receive a bill you did not expect because you had a busy month. We are not registered for VAT, so the price shown is the total payable.

Every plan includes calendar booking, changing and cancellation. ORLA follows the service length, working hours, breaks, closed dates, minimum notice and the preparation, travel or cleanup gaps agreed during setup. A messaging channel is described as connected only after a real incoming message and ORLA reply have been proved.

Payment is monthly in advance by card. Your first payment is taken when you go live, not when you sign up. Prices can change, but never without at least one month’s notice in writing.

3. When you pay

There is no free trial. You pay from the day ORLA goes live on your number, not from signing up and not from the day you first spoke to us. Before that day you can hear ORLA on our demo line and on a test call set up on your own configuration, at no cost and with nothing owed.

  • Your card details are taken at signup. No charge is made at signup.
  • Your first payment is taken on the day we activate your line, and monthly from then on.
  • There is no minimum term. Cancel before your next renewal and you are not charged again.
  • On Complete, the £129.99 setup fee is charged once when we activate your line, because a person does the setup work first. It is refunded in full if you cancel before the setup work starts.

4. When the service starts

Creating an account does not start anything. ORLA answers only after you have heard it handle a test call on your own configuration and a person here has approved it by hand. Paying does not switch ORLA on either. Until you divert your number, your calls ring exactly where they always did.

5. Cancelling

There is no minimum term and no notice period. Cancel before your renewal date and that is the end of it. Months already served are not refunded. On Complete, the £129.99 setup fee is refunded in full if you cancel before we start the setup work, and is not refunded once that work has been done. You can remove the divert from your number yourself at any moment without asking us.

6. What you must do

  • Give us accurate information about your services, prices, hours and coverage. ORLA repeats what you tell it.
  • Tell your own customers that calls may be answered by an AI and recorded, where you are required to.
  • Keep a working contact number for us to reach you on.
  • Not use the service for anything unlawful, and not resell it without a written agreement.

7. Data protection

You are the data controller for your customers’ information. We are your processor and act on your instructions, under a written data processing agreement supplied with the Services Agreement. We keep call recordings and transcripts for no longer than 90 days. Some of our telephony and AI suppliers hold their own copies under their own retention periods, and our deletion does not always reach those copies. We remain responsible for our suppliers under our data protection obligations. The exceptions are named in the privacy notice. Read the privacy notice alongside this section. You can ask us to delete something sooner, and we will handle that by hand and tell you when it is done.

8. What we do not promise

We do not promise that ORLA will never miss a call, never mishear, or never make a mistake. It is a technology service and can experience outages, see service status. It is not an emergency service: if there is danger to life, ring 999. Everything ORLA refuses to do is listed at what ORLA will not do, and that list is part of these terms.

9. Liability

Our liability to you is limited, and the limits are set out in full in the Services Agreement you are sent before going live. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
