Built and running today
Everything ORLA actually does.
Not a roadmap. This is what is built and running today, and at the bottom, plainly, what it does not do.
On the call
- Answers in your business name with a greeting that suits the time of day
- Tells the caller they are speaking with an AI receptionist
- Works from your services, opening hours, coverage area and approved price ranges
- Takes the caller's name, number, job type, postcode and how urgent it is
- Checks whether the postcode is somewhere you actually cover
- Answers factual questions from knowledge you have approved
- Asks for a person instead of guessing when a request falls outside your rules
- Takes a message or a callback request when it cannot finish the job
- Handles interruptions, silence and callers who change the subject
- Records, transcribes and summarises the conversation
Booking the work
- Checks real availability before offering any time
- Books only from times your diary actually returned
- Changes and cancels existing appointments
- Respects service durations, travel and preparation buffers, and gaps between jobs
- Respects minimum notice, start-time intervals, working days, breaks and closed dates
- Works in your timezone and guards against double bookings
- Connects Google Calendar, Microsoft, Acuity and read-only published calendar feeds
After every call
- Sends you a plain-English summary and the next action
- Sends the customer a booking confirmation by email or text
- Keeps the call, the transcript and the enquiry against the customer's record
- Holds anything it is unsure about for a person, rather than sending it twice
Your customers over time
- Recognises a returning caller from their number
- Keeps one record per customer across the channels you have connected
- Merges duplicates and records the conflict rather than overwriting quietly
- Tracks enquiries through new, qualified, booked, won and lost
- Keeps the value you type against a job. It never estimates revenue for you
Your shared inbox
- Every connected channel in one thread per customer, searchable and filterable
- Unread counts, assignment and private notes for your team
- Pause ORLA on any conversation and reply yourself
Teaching ORLA your business
- A guided setup that saves as you go, so you can stop and come back
- Paste your web address and ORLA reads your own page and fills in what it can
- Your own questions and answers, in your words
- Documents you already have, reviewed before anything is used on a call
- Nothing reaches a caller until you have approved it
What stays under your control
- What ORLA must never promise, and the work you do not take
- Your emergency policy and who a call escalates to
- Tone, and what happens outside opening hours
- How you are told: email, text, or both
- Pause ORLA whenever you want
What you can see
- Calls answered, minutes used and what each call resulted in
- Appointments booked and what still needs you
- Your costs, and an alert at 80% and 100% of your monthly minutes
What ORLA does not do
- It does not put a caller straight through to you mid-call. It takes the message or arranges the callback
- It does not start conversations. On WhatsApp it answers your customers and never messages anyone first
- It does not make sales calls or do cold outreach, for you or for us
- It does not invent a price, a time or a promise. If it does not know, it says so and asks a person
- It is not switched on in five minutes. We configure and test it with you before a real customer hears it
- It is not an emergency service, and it is a technology service that can have outages
Hear it do this, before you decide.
The demonstration line is answered by the same ORLA your customers would get.
